Today the Martin Luther King Jr. movie, Selma, hits theaters. This film is receiving considerable Oscar buzz and it is topping many lists because best movie with the 2014 film season, and for good reason. I typically don't enjoy movies that manage revered historical figures like MLK. These movies usually either present the figure being an infallible, unrelatable saint among men or they struggle over-time to give the inside a new light that they can trash their legacy. Selma, however, does a great job of presenting Rev. King like a flawed individual who rose above his imperfections from the power of his convictions.

'Desperado' is defined in Mexico and is also a sequel to Rodriguez's low-budget 1992 movie 'El Mariachi.' In it, El Mariachi's (played by Antonio Banderas) girlfriend is brutally murdered.
